There is still time to secure your place for our next Guild Masterclass on the mechanics of residual value (RV) forecasting, which will take place online next month. 

While many automotive writers focus on vehicle design and driving dynamics, fewer grasp the background factors that quietly determine what buyers actually pay on a personal contract purchase (PCP) deal or a fleet leasing agreement.

Led by Simon Harris, this online session takes participants behind the scenes of RV forecasting. Simon spent four years as head of valuations at an automotive data company developing the methodology behind a forecasting tool, directly shaping its specification and interactive features.

The training will cover how forecasts are constructed, how different sales channels shift values, how depreciation curves are built, and how electric vehicle data is influencing the calculation methodology.
