GOMW MICA Young PR Professional of the Year Award

£500 plus trophy

This award offers young automotive PR professionals the chance to be recognised alongside the very best in automotive writing and photography. Created through a partnership between the Guild of Motoring Writers and MICA (Motor Industry Communicators Association).

The prize will include a year’s MICA membership and mentoring with one of its senior members.

Entrants must be aged under 30.

How to enter

Please include the following in your written submission, which can be attached below as the supporting document:

• Career details: a CV as an attached PDF or Word document, or a web link for your LinkedIn profile or similar
• Performance: What are your notable achievements over the past 12 months? (500 words or less)
• Professionalism: How have you developed personally as a PR professional over the past 12 months, and what are your future career aims? (300 words or less)
• Practice: Discuss the major challenges facing PR and communications in the automotive industry, demonstrating both your understanding of the changing context in which you work and the role of communications professionals in addressing these challenges. Describe how these challenges should be addressed, showing professionalism and innovation in your thinking. (300 words or less)
