CMG creates innovative and engaging digital sports content for our brands and clients, and offers a range of online products and services including digital marketing, building and managing websites, apps, and augmented reality campaigns.

To help take CMG's digital content to the next level the company is recruiting for an experienced, ambitious, and creative Head of Content to manage and evolve  motorsport and motorcycle content.

You’ll be responsible for the content produced across CMG's two largest websites,, the biggest independent global motorsports site with 2M+ monthly unique users, and, a rapidly growing online motorcycle community with 1M monthly unique users.

The role

  • Create and implement a digital content strategy to increase our brand USPs and set us further apart and ahead of our competition
  • Manage content plan to achieve KPIs, including # articles published, sessions, uniques, page views, video views, and bounce rate, and provide regular reporting to core business stakeholders
  • Maximise use and growth of all promotional channels including social media and email
  • Ensure all content is on-brand and consistent in terms of style, quality and tone of voice
  • Review and enhance SEO to increase organic traffic
  • Work closely with commercial teams to devise innovative content campaigns with brand partners and ensure all sold campaigns are delivered to and above expectations
  • Report directly to, and work closely with the CMO, to build brands, raise awareness, drive traffic and increase revenue growth
  • Development of a measurement & evaluation framework that provides key performance indicators and actionable insights to improve ongoing content development
  • Manage a content team of 6+ people

Required skills/ experience

  • Experience creating and managing content strategies and plans, and achieving KPIs
  • Passion/knowledge in motorsports/motorcycling
  • Extensive experience of SEO for large websites and analytics
  • Experience managing a team
  • Strong illustratable abilities in project management
  • Excellent communicator
  • Very organised
