Newspress Comms was set up in 2014 to provide strategic PR support to Newspress clients, both editorial and manufacturer side. It has several high profile clients in the automotive industry and provides editorial, content, audio-visual and business support services.

Reporting jointly to the Account Manager and/or the Comms Director, your role will be to look after our PR clients on a daily basis, creating content, providing creative input to the Comms team and assisting on PR events.

Strong writing skills are essential, as you will be responsible for putting together press releases and regular editorial content, including vehicle manufacturers, industry bodies, events companies and editorial outlets.

You will also be expected to contribute creative ideas to the Comms Director and Account Manager and work with them to secure new and develop existing business.

A knowledge of the commercial vehicle industry would be an advantage, but not essential, as would a working knowledge of both the car and publishing industries. Ideally, you will have at least two years’ experience of working in an automotive-focused editorial environment or PR agency, or as an in-house PR.
